DOS Story

Hey Hey my name is
Dean Onyx Syndicate (DOS)
- Perth, Western Australian

This guy (me) has an unprecedented 360’ degrees of knowledge and understanding of every pain point and issue people like YOU face in the music, events & arts industries.
That’s what 12+ years in the biz does.

All started back in the day making Call of Duty videos as a teen.

Studied Bachelor Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations during all the below…
Started a YouTube Channel called Australian Sound (promoting a new wave of music artists 2013 onwards)

Worked at one of Australia’s largest music & lifestyle publications (Pilerats)

All things MarComms at WAM (West Australian Music)

Onyx Syndicate (this is me btw) was born.

Started filming local events, got picked up by an artist called Yahtzel. Due to my weird transitions within the events I was filming. Made visuals for his duo project called Carmada (OWSLA)

Then went on to create visuals for:
ShockOne, Luude, Hydraulix, Flowidus, Twerl, Badrapper, LOLO BX, Your Girl Pho + stack of events:
Inhibit, The Syndicate, HILINE & many others taken sadly by c0vid.

Managed & creatively directed a breaking duo act known as
Command Q (OWSLA / MAD DECENT)

Advised Bandlez (Disciple) around this time as well, before they became #breaking artist.

Visual Operator for a lot of gigs:

Had a music video I created on appear RAGE. (Australian National TV)

Marketing & Content Creation | Boomtick Events | TouchBass, Breakfast, One More Time, Hiline.

National Social Media Manager & Content Creation | Zaccaria Concerts / Face to Face Touring | Large Scale Events Social Ad Spend | Castaway Festival, SummerSalt, By The C, Bernie Dieter Berlin Underground Crown Perth, Prison Cinema and multiple other shows/concerts.

Nowadays, my expertise is channelled into the masses.

Working for a YouTube network, servicing thousands of creators and artists, has given me a broader perspective.

Today.

DOS - Dean Onyx Syndicate is born.

So after turning away hundreds of artists, promoters & managers who were unable to afford my services in the past this idea of DOS Visuals has lived rent free in my head for a minute.

Where I create a set of visuals, rework them into 100 Unique loops, sell them at an affordable amount + Gain the reward of constant gratification from multiple artists, events and DJs being stoked - Compared to sloggin’ away on singular visual projects.

This experience has been awesome.
